Ella Gutman is committed to creating the finest level of handmade crafts and utensils, which meet the highest professional international standards. Each piece is made in a creative process that includes planning, design, throwing and painting stages, several fires in designated kilns and strict quality control and refinement methods. Thus, each item in the website's shop is bound to the highest workmanship and production process.

 

Ella undertakes that all item images which appear in the shop have been arranged to present the nature of the object for sale as accurately as possible and in order to emphasize the uniqueness of handmade artworks.

When purchasing an item, the customer expresses agreement that the item ordered is not the specific item photographed but an identical item in all main features, and that there may be slight changes as a result of the item

being specially prepared and handmade.

(This does not apply to "Single Piece" items, which are one of a kind and cannot be replicated or reproduced).

 

The customer acknowledges that except where explicitly stated, all prices on the site are for a single unit, regardless of the image displayed on the site, and that a demand to receive a product in quantity, shade, tone or light in the exact measurements shown in the image, does not provide a reason to replace a product and will not be answered.

Unlike industrial items, which are manufactured in a factory line according to a pattern, each handmade item

has a uniqueness reserved only for it. Like identical twins, even those pieces of craft that carry the same name

have small differences that distinguish each individual object.

When purchasing an item, customers express their awareness  that no two handmade units can there can be absolutely identical, and that returns will be allowed only under these conditions:

• 1. When either the clay color, glazing technique, shape or series of the item received is significantly different from the specifications of the item purchased.

• 2. When the item received is at least 15% larger or smaller than the size of the item purchased.

• 3. When the item received is missing an integral part or component (such as a handle or a lid) from the specifications of the purchased item, and it is not possible for us to provide a complementary component of the same quality within a reasonable time frame.

• 4. When the item purchased is not delivered within a reasonable time frame, subject to the terms of purchase and delivery.

• 5. Return due to a defect, such as a break or crack in the body of the piece, is subjected to a presentation of a reference, including a built-in date from the day the item was collected, indicating it has arrived in defective condition. This reference must be sent within a week from the date the item's collection date with an attachment indicating the selection of one of the compensations described below.

In case a request for return meets the above conditions, we commit to provide one of the following alternatives:

A. A replacement item in line with the original purchase made by the customer.

B. Full credit for the purchase of another item.

C. full refund.

D. Partial credit, which allows the customer to keep the item received in addition to purchasing additional items.

• 6. Refund due to regret is possible, provided the purchased item(s) is sent back to the address indicated below, in optimal condition, unused, in its original packaging within 14 days of the item being delivered and after the item has been checked for its condition. Compliance will allow for a full refund, not including return shipping, directly to the bank account from which the purchase was made. Failure to meet these conditions will not allow for a full refund, but other credit options will be possible depending on the characteristics of each specific purchase.
