What will you learn?

Discover the art of pottery in a relaxing and creative two-hour introduction workshop, limited to 2-4 people, ensuring a personalized experience. During the workshop, you will learn the basics of pottery and discover the wonder your hands can make. I will teach you how to use the potter's wheel and steady your hands with the correct positions to center a lump of clay and apply balanced strength and focus. Then you will learn how to make a shape; open and pool up the clay and make it rise like magic. In one session, in an easy-going environment over hot drinks and snacks, you will create your very own handmade pieces. All the clay you need will be provided during the workshop, and you will have time to practice. If you want your pieces to be fired and glazed with your chosen colors, it's an additional 10 euros per item. Then your items will be fired twice (bisque & glaze) will become waterproof and food-safe, and will be ready to pick up after 2-3 weeks. Otherwise, you can take a photo of your creation. Don't worry, you can decide on the spot. Whether it is your first time on the wheel or you have some acquired skills, whether for yourself or as a gift to a loved one, this workshop is perfect for anyone who is looking to get their hands dirty and clear their mind from daily life, doing something new with a simple touch of hand on clay. All classes will be taught in English. * The workshop is suitable for all people between the ages of 15 to 120. Children between 8-14 are welcome, only with an adult participating. * Parking is available nearby from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Area code: 7300.
